Memories

I see his face
I see his smile
I see the way he looked
I see his love in his eyes

I feel his kiss
I feel the strength in his arms
I feel the connection that is ours
I feel his heartbeat against mine

I want his love
I want his desire
I want to be his toy of inspiration
I want to feel his arms locked around me

I need his lips upon mine
I need his arms crushing me to him
I need his body pressed to mine
I need to know that I complete him

I wrote this poem about twenty years ago before my first husband passed away.
