Tonight I felt really stupid. How do you explain to a child why when they are suppose to spell "an" that its not "and"? I explained that the two words meant something different. The thing is at her age she hears by the sound of it not the meaning of the word. So I had to send that message into the teacher. I simply don't know how to explain it.
Anyone have any suggestions? I so need help on this one.

Ran across this blog of yours and found this quite funny. I have absolutely no clue how I would explain this to a child! Luckily, I have quite a few years to think up a reason before my 7 month old son turns 6 or 7 and I have to do some explaining!
LOL I asked the teacher to give me a clue what to say so I will post it when I find out. Its confusing lol
