Thank you, thank you! For feeling the same as I do about word verification. I actually have that jotted down as a possible topic for a post. Why are they needed? Are you really getting so much spam traffic that you have to turn it on? I don't have it on any of mine, and haven't run into that problem yet.

It had to be said! I hate word verification too! Sometimes my comments don't get left because I'm already clicking out of a window before it pops up.

Those are so much fun! I could comment and read so much faster if people would take off the word verification. I've entered contests that had that, what were they thinking!
