Magical Moments For Tuesday

”Magical

I have so many magical moments last week.  I'm late posting this as well.  I can't decide which moment was the most magical so I'm going to tell you about several of them.

The first would have to be the magical moments that we decided to take the kids to go to Florida.  For various reasons:

I was going to get to see my sister, Tab and her family.  I hadn't seen them for over 2 years.  I was going to be able to see my great nephew who was born in July.

Here she is.  My sister as a grandmother.  She's too young for that.  She is 41 years old.  When I'm a grandmother, I should be in my 60's.

Then there is me with my great nephew, Aiden for the first time. What a Magical Moment.

Having my kids see my sister and their cousins was wonderful.  Here is Faith with my niece, Chelsey.

And then of course the proud parents of Aiden.  My nephew, Jeremie and Annbrielle.

This had to be one of my special magic moments as well.  The first time my mom held her great grandson.  You can't tell in the picture but she had tears running down her face.

I'll go more into those details soon.

Then there was the Magical Moment of Faith's pre birthday party with my husband.  I didn't want him to feel totally left out of such a big day.  He wasn't expecting it so it was a precious moment between us.

Faith goofing off before opening her gifts.  Here she got a Hannah Montana Nightshirt.  My husband was so excited that he was able to share in the fun.  I know that it bothers him that we were leaving him.. Well kinda.  He already made fishing plans.

There were so many magical moments for me this week.  But I want to touch on one that affected both my mother and myself.  I was showing her the blog and all of your comments.  She and I were both very touched that you were commented on us being careful and having fun.  It showed me how very lucky that my life has been blessed by each and every one of you.

For those of you visiting for the first time, the goal is to talk about one thing during the week that was magical to you. I mean that you were over the top about. It could be a project you completed, something your child did, a grand new idea, something you saw, etc. Something that was so magical that you have to tell us about it. I know. I know. This is why we all have blogs. But sometimes we just write about the negative things because we had a bad week. So if we all write about a Magical Moment then we might uplift another blogger. This is the very reason that I have this blog so that one day my children can see. You do not have to be a mom to do this. To join us, on Tuesday post what your Magical Moment was (add my button from the right side bar or link to me) and then be sure to stop here to link up and meet other moms at HeartsMakeFamilies to see what their Magical Moment was.

Now since I am so late posting, I am extending the normal response by Tuesday until Thursday.  I hope that you will join us.

Beautiful magical moments. My sister lives in Florida, too. I do not get to see her very often and I cherish our time together when we are able to make it work.
I am new to following your blog. I look forward to getting to know you.
Blessings, andrea

Sounds like you had a magical trip. (I almost said Magical Vaction but that would sound like you went to Disney.) Great pictures!

@Andrea - I'm so glad to meet you and welcome to my blog. I look forward to talking with you more. Its so hard to come afterwards but then I couldn't wait too as well.

@kys - Well it was a magical trip except for one major incident. Still trying to decide if I want to share that one. I'm glad you like the pictures. Lots more to come.

@blueviolet - They are treasures that I hold so dearly close.
